GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS REDUCTION TARGET
Our Commitment Continues
In May 2025, we shared an update on the significant progress we had made in reducing the carbon intensity of our activities. Between 2020 and 2024, we successfully reduced our CO₂e emissions intensity per unit of revenue by 81%.
We are now building on this achievement by setting a specific target for the years ahead.

By 2030, we have committed to reducing the combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 market-based greenhouse gas emissions intensity by 10% compared with the 2024 baseline year.
Emissions intensity is measured in tonnes of CO₂e per EUR million of revenue.
2024 Baseline Year
We have selected 2024 as the baseline year for our target. Our emissions for that year were:
2024 | |
Scope 1 – direct emissions | 279 t CO₂e |
Scope 2 – market-based – indirect emissions | 0 t CO₂e |
The zero Scope 2 market-based result reflects the use of Energy Attribute Certificates for electricity consumed during 2024.
Monitoring Our Progress
This target is part of our long-term efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon intensity of our operations.
We will regularly monitor and evaluate our progress towards the 2030 target and continue to explore opportunities to further reduce the carbon intensity of our activities.
