Family businesses have their own charm, which lies in the combination of family values and entrepreneurship. At the "Family Business Week" conference, which took place on September 18th in Modletice, we actively participated in discussions with other like-minded entrepreneurs.
The main theme of the conference was maintaining the motivation of key people - managers who play a crucial role in the development of any company. MD Luboš Kmeť, one of the speakers, emphasized the importance of a common vision between owners and managers. The key is the balance between their roles and mutual understanding.
The second part of the conference was a panel discussion on the role of family businesses in the development of the region . SOPO was represented in this part by CEO Jan Ondráček, who spoke about business culture, employment opportunities and supporting the local community.
The conference showed us once again that despite the difficult times many companies are facing, sharing experiences, inspiration and mutual support can help us move forward. It was great to see how family businesses can motivate each other and find common paths to success.
