  • SOPO is switching to the new ERP system IFS CLOUD

SOPO is currently taking an important step towards digitalization and streamlining internal processes – we are upgrading our IFS ERP system. From a technological point of view, this is a significant shift: we are moving from version 7.5 to the modern IFS CLOUD 24R2. This step is necessary so that we can keep up with the rapid development of society and at the same time better respond to the growing demands of our partners - whether it concerns communication or the data provided. Intensive testing of key and supporting processes, creation of new internal documentation, and training of our employees are currently underway. The goal is to ensure the smoothest possible transition to the new version of the system. The launch date of the new version (so-called "GO LIVE") is set for May 19, 2025. Although we pay maximum attention to testing, it may happen that during the week from May 19th to May 25th, there will be minor administrative delays – for example, in providing documents or information. However, the processing of your orders and the production itself will not be jeopardized. We believe that the new system will bring even greater reliability to our deliveries and better planning of production capacities in the future - not only for us, but also for you, our partners. Thank you for your support and patience during the transition period. Have a nice day, Petr Pribyl IT Director SOPO Ltd.

  • Family Business Week: Inspiration and Motivation for Family Businesses

Family businesses have their own charm, which lies in the combination of family values and entrepreneurship. At the "Family Business Week" conference, which took place on September 18th in Modletice, we actively participated in discussions with other like-minded entrepreneurs. The main theme of the conference was maintaining the motivation of key people - managers who play a crucial role in the development of any company. MD Luboš Kmeť, one of the speakers, emphasized the importance of a common vision between owners and managers. The key is the balance between their roles and mutual understanding. The second part of the conference was a panel discussion on the role of family businesses in the development of the region . SOPO was represented in this part by CEO Jan Ondráček, who spoke about business culture, employment opportunities and supporting the local community. The conference showed us once again that despite the difficult times many companies are facing, sharing experiences, inspiration and mutual support can help us move forward. It was great to see how family businesses can motivate each other and find common paths to success. We would like to take this opportunity to thank David Krajíček, the founder of the Family Business Week platform, for organizing this inspiring event that helped us look at business from a different perspective and take it one step further. Thank you for the opportunity and we look forward to meeting our colleagues from the family businesses!

  • Don't let it happen!

And write to us via the online trust box. Sopo sro has partnered with the Don't Let It Be (NNTB) project, which started as a student activity to combat bullying and is now used as a tool to protect whistleblowers in schools and the business world. NNTB acts as an online trust box where you can safely and conveniently share your opinions, concerns or suggestions for improvement. As a company, we want to provide a platform where everyone can have their say, even those who are shy or afraid to speak out publicly. This tool allows you to share your thoughts and ideas anonymously or by name, which are then forwarded directly to our HR department, where we carefully process them and try to find a solution. One of the advantages of NNTB is that you do not have to create an account, but we can still easily respond to your anonymous complaint and actively process it. You can send us your suggestions via this link: www.nntb.cz/c/sopo1 You can also use the FaceUp mobile app, available on Google Play and the App Store . The access code to submit a complaint is: “ sopaci ”. We welcome all suggestions and comments.

  • SOPO joins the Green Company project

We are pleased to announce that our company SOPO has joined the Green Company project organized by REMA Systém. This step confirms our commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development. What is the Green Company project? The Green Company project, founded in 2008, allows companies in the Czech Republic to return waste electrical and electronic equipment for recycling free of charge. The aim is to reduce the environmental burden and promote the reuse of valuable materials. Why is this important? Electronic waste contains hazardous substances that can harm the environment if disposed of incorrectly. By recycling these devices, we not only prevent pollution, but also enable the reuse of valuable materials, thereby conserving natural resources. Our commitments for the future By participating in the Green Company project, we commit to: Environmental responsibilities : Consistently sort and recycle electronic waste generated in our company, including end-of-life electrical equipment from our employees' households. Employee training : Inform and motivate our team to behave environmentally friendly and dispose of electronic waste properly. Promote sustainability : Actively seek additional ways to minimize our environmental impact. We believe this step is another significant milestone on our journey towards sustainability and responsible business. Together, we can contribute to protecting our planet for future generations.
